Purchase a Combo ticket this year and enjoy an exclusive private tour previewing your walking route of the gardens. Old Town Trolley guides will share their stories of Savannah and our Garden Club docents will fill you in about the Savannah landscape, plant tips, fun facts, and historic gardening practices.
This year NOGS attracted visitors to Savannah from 39 states two provinces and three countries! We offered three levels of participation including a premium Trolley Tour package, the Traditional Southern Tea and Garden Tour and the Garden-Walking-Tour only. Added to the walking tour was an option to join a guided architecture and gardens tour through the Massie Heritage Center, one of the historic garden projects our grants fund each year.
Our themes for the event change year to year. In ’22 it was Sharing the Art of Southern Hospitality and in ’23 it was Art in the Garden: Garden as Art. The team for 2024 is already meeting and planning the theme for next year. All plans will be in place by late October which is why we are able to begin ticket sales in mid-November.

The Garden Party and flower arrangements are hosted at the Green-Meldrim House is adjacent to St. John’s Episcopal Church on Madison Square. On a typical stroll through the Savannah squares with stops in each of the 8 garden locations will take you several hours and covers about 1.5 miles depending on your route. Sidewalks are rough so practical footwear is essential. Pedicabs will be available for hire to help you get from place to place as needed and may be arranged upon arrival.
